Dr. ZHAO Wenfeng is skilled in the diagnosis and treatments of:
1. Minimally invasive surgical treatment (including robot-assisted laparoscopy, laparoscopy, ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, etc.), comprehensive treatment, and whole-process management for complex urological tumors (including adrenal tumors, kidney tumors, renal pelvis and ureteral tumors, bladder tumors, prostate tumors, etc.). Independently completed and participated in thousands of urological tumor and stone surgeries.
2. Minimally invasive surgical treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia: Successfully performed multiple difficult cases of transurethral prostate enucleation for huge volume prostates (one case exceeding 300ml, three cases between 250-300ml, oldest patient 92 years old).
3. Diagnosis and treatment of urinary control diseases (such as stress urinary incontinence, etc.), especially female urological diseases.
Dr. ZHAO Wenfeng received his bachelor’s degree from Tongji University in 2007 and his master’s degree from Peking University Health Science Center in 2010. That same year, he began working at the Wu Jieping Urology Medical Center at Peking University Shougang Hospital, where he served successively as a resident, attending physician, and associate chief physician. He is highly proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in his specialty.
From 2010 to 2013, he completed the Beijing Municipal Standardized Resident Training Program at Peking University Third Hospital, where he was awarded the title of “Outstanding Resident at Peking University Third Hospital”;
In 2017, he attended an advanced training course in robotic surgery at Changhai Hospital, Second Military Medical University, Shanghai;
In 2019, he won third prize in the National Clinical Research Skills Competition for Young and Middle-Aged Urologists;
Recognized as an “Outstanding Individual” for medical support during the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics by Peking University;
From 2022 to 2023, he underwent advanced training in laparoscopic and robotic surgery under the team of Academician Zhang Xu at 301 Hospital (PLA General Hospital);
In July 2023, he joined the Department of Urology at Peking University International Hospital;
In 2025, he was awarded the title of “Outstanding Physician at Peking University International Hospital.”
