Referral Process

Ensuring Seamless Transfers and Uninterrupted Care Through Our Efficient Referral Pathway

Overview

Thank you for your trust in us. To promote the integration of medical  resources and provide patients with continuous, efficient, and  high-quality diagnosis and treatment services, we have established a  smooth green channel for internal and external hospital referrals  within the medical consortium.

This process aims to ensure that every referred patient receives  smooth, accurate handover and ongoing care.

Target audience for referral

  • Medical consortium cooperation units

Grassroots hospitals, community health service centers, etc. that have signed a medical consortium cooperation agreement with our hospital.

  • External collaborative hospitals

Although we have not officially joined the medical consortium, we recognize the specialized strength of our hospital and hope to seek better treatment plans for patients as a sister hospital.

  • Patients and their families

Patients who wish to be transferred to our hospital for further diagnosis and treatment, as recommended by the first doctor.

Core referral process (for medical colleagues)

We provide standardized referral pathways for doctors in our partner hospitals to ensure accurate and efficient information transmission.

  • 01

Step One: Initiate a referral application

    Email:

In case of special circumstances, you can download and fill out our hospital's standard "Patient Referral Application Form", fax it to our hospital's referral center along with copies of the medical records mentioned above, or scan and send it to the designated email.

  • 02

    Step two:Referral Assessment and Reception

After receiving the application, our referral center specialist will immediately conduct a formal review and assign it to the corresponding specialty.

Expert evaluation: Experts in relevant fields will conduct a preliminary assessment of the patient's condition within 1-2 working days and make a decision on whether to accept or not.

Feedback confirmation: Our referral center will promptly provide the evaluation results (acceptance, suggestions for adjusting treatment plans, or temporarily not accepting), as well as information on the receiving experts and expected admission time, to the applying doctor.

  • 03

Step three: Patient Reception and Admission

Once the acceptance is confirmed, we will open a "green channel" for you and the patient.

Docking guidance: Your patient manager or our hospital's liaison personnel will proactively contact the patient's family, guide them in handling relevant procedures, and inform them of precautions.

Priority arrangement: Referred patients will enjoy the rights of priority appointment with expert clinics, priority arrangement of beds, and priority examination, greatly reducing waiting time.

  • 04

    Step four:Treatment Feedback and Regression

During the patient's treatment at our hospital, we will maintain communication with you.

After the treatment is completed, we will provide a detailed 'discharge summary' and 'rehabilitation guidance recommendations'.

If you need to return to your hospital for follow-up rehabilitation treatment, we will proactively communicate with you to ensure a seamless connection between the treatment plan and complete the diagnosis and treatment loop.

Patient and Family Guidelines

If your attending physician recommends transferring you to our hospital, you can do the following:

  • Adequate communication

Communicate fully with your attending physician to clarify the necessity and objectives of the referral.

  • Prepare materials

Please assist the doctor in preparing all your medical records, examination reports, imaging films (CT/MRI, etc.), and CDs.

  • Waiting for contact

After submitting the referral application, please keep your mobile phone open. Our international patient service department or referral center specialist will proactively contact you to confirm detailed information and guide you on the next steps.

  • Arriving for medical treatment

Arrive at our hospital at the agreed time, and there will usually be a dedicated person to guide you through the subsequent procedures, directly entering the diagnosis and treatment process, saving you many intermediate processes.
