Has particular expertise in spinal tumors, spinal tuberculosis, thoracic spinal stenosis, and minimally invasive spine surgery. Among the early pioneers in China to apply a range of minimally invasive techniques for spinal disorders, including needle biopsy, vertebroplasty, radiofrequency ablation, radioactive seed implantation, mini-incision spine surgery, and spinal endoscopic procedures. Especially experienced in the surgical management of complex thoracic spine conditions, including ossification of ligaments, tumors, and deformities.
