Chief Physician, Professor, Master’s Advisor, Deputy Director of the Cardiology Center at Peking University International Hospital, and Director of the Department of Cardiology. Previously served as Director of the Heart Failure Ward in the Department of Cardiology at Anzhen Hospital.

Specializes primarily in the treatment of hypertension, coronary heart disease, heart failure, and various complex cardiovascular diseases, and has treated a large number of patients with acute and critical cardiovascular conditions. With more than 40 years of frontline clinical work, Dr. LIU has accumulated extensive clinical experience and has repeatedly participated in large-scale, internationally influential clinical drug trials (such as VALUE, SHIFT, CCSII, ALTITUDE, PARADIGM, and PARAGON) as a principal investigator.

She has published more than 50 academic papers in leading domestic journals and co-authored five monographs. Dr. LIU has led four research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation.
