Department Introduction

The Department of Nephrology is a comprehensive kidney disease center integrating medical care, teaching, and research, with well-established clinical specialties and research directives. As a key discipline within the hospital, the department embraces international hospital standards, maintains active external exchanges, and strives to become a leading domestic center for clinical diagnosis, research, and treatment. 

The department comprises both the Nephrology ward and the Hemodialysis Center (including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), featuring an integrated hemodialysis treatment center and specialized outpatient clinics for diabetic nephropathy, chronic kidney disease, and vascular access. 

The Nephrology ward accomodates 22 beds, and the Hemodialysis Center is equipped with 45 hemodialysis machines, 3 bedside hemodialysis filtration machines, 4 automated peritoneal dialysis machines, and 1 ultrasound machine.

Currently operating under an advanced management information system, the Department of Nephrology strives to create a comfortable and welcoming healthcare environment while pursuing excellence in medical care and delivering high-quality services. It prioritizes a patient-centered approach, emphasizing holistic physical and mental well-being, and fosters mutual respect between physicians and patients.
