Served as principal investigator on a National Natural Science Foundation of China Young Scientists Project (Grant No. 81200514) investigating the pathogenesis of membranous nephropathy; the project has been successfully completed. Published 5 SCI articles as first author with a cumulative impact factor of 13.6, and over 20 SCI articles as a co-author.

Academic and social positions

Dr. QU Zhen graduated from Peking University Health Science Center in 2010 with a Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine. From 2010 to 2018, she worked in the Department of Nephrology at Peking University First Hospital, where she was promoted to Associate Chief Physician in 2015. Having worked on the front lines of clinical practice for many years, she has extensive experience in clinical diagnosis and treatment. In 2013, she spent two months at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, affiliated with Harvard University, as a visiting scholar of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN).
