Dr. LIU is skilled at the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy in adults and children, Parkinson's and movement disorders, sleep disorders, neuralgia, and cerebrovascular diseases.

Dr. LIU has published over 70 articles in domestic and international journals, led the translation and compilation of, or contributed to, 10 monographs, and has received multiple grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and served as principal investigator for sub-projects under the Ministry of Science and Technology’s 973 Program. He serves on the editorial boards or as a guest editor for various journals and is a review expert for both the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation.
