Department Introduction

The Department of Clinical Nutrition specializes in providing nutritional diagnosis for patients with overweight, obesity, emaciation, imbalanced nutrient intake, and deficiencies in vitamins and trace elements, based on nutrient testing, nutritional assessment and clinical manifestations. For each individual case, the department formulates personalized dietary plans tailored to the patient’s eating habits, disease diagnosis and biochemical test results, and delivers nutritional therapy integrating medical foods, pharmaceuticals, as well as vitamin and trace element supplements.

Boasting a well-structured and qualified team, all current staff members hold postgraduate degrees and are equipped with solid professional foundations in nutrition and advanced clinical therapeutic capabilities. Meanwhile, the department prioritizes the integrated development of clinical practice and scientific research. It undertakes a number of research projects at national and provincial-ministerial levels, and leverages the integration of clinical medicine and nutrition, along with a holistic approach, to provide patients with personalized nutritional therapy services through multi-method, multi-perspective and multi-level interventions.
