The Ultrasound Department at Peking University International Hospital comprises 28 staff, including 4 chief physicians, 2 associate chief physicians, 8 attending physicians, 1 resident physician, 1 nurse, and 12 data entry clerks. Over 80% of the medical staff have doctoral or master's degrees.
The department boasts a strong talent structure, including several leading domestic experts in ultrasound medicine, and has achieved excellence in clinical, educational, and research capacities.
Ultrasound equipment includes top-tier models from leading manufacturers, such as Philips IE Elite, Philips IU Elite, Philips CX50, Siemens S3000, Esaote Mylab Twice, and Mindray Resona 7s color Doppler systems.
The department is designated as a "Training Base of the Chinese Society of Ultrasound in Medicine and Engineering,” “Mindray Vascular and Superficial Organ Ultrasound Training Base,” and a founding member of the "Medical Image Database for Superficial Lymph Node Ultrasound."
