Cardiac Surgery

The Cardiac Surgery Division-Heart Center is a key specialty at Peking University International Hospital. The department is led by Professor Xu Jianping, a world-renowned cardiac surgeon, former Director of the Adult Cardiac Surgery Center at Fuwai Hospital under the National Center for Cardiac Diseases, and a pioneer in critical care cardiac surgery. The center is staffed with a team of senior-level physicians and is equipped with fully imported surgical instruments and state-of-the-art international-standard facilities.

Under the leadership of Professor Xu Jianping, the cardiac surgery team has built a dynamic and ambitious group of young professionals with substantial clinical experience. The core surgical team members are graduates of leading centers such as Fuwai Hospital and Anzhen Hospital, and have undergone rigorous training in advanced cardiac surgical techniques.
